Meet Eli Saucier - Hamilton Football/Track & Field

Eli Saucier was a varsity letter winner on the football and track & field teams and one of the top sprinters in program history. Saucier received the 2018 Jean-Marius Gelas Memorial Award at Hamilton's senior varsity athlete awards celebration. The Gelas awards are presented annually to a male and female senior student-athlete who has displayed outstanding development in sportsmanship, leadership, character and athletic ability during their college years.
Saucier competed at the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the men's 100 and 200-meter races and at the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 200-meter dash. He holds school indoor records in the 60 and 200-meters, and was part of the record-setting 1,600-meter relay. He owns school outdoor records in the 100, 200 and 400 meters, and was part of the record 400-meter relay.
Saucier collected Division III All-Atlantic Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association after the 2018 outdoor season for his performance in the 100 and the 200-meters and following the 2018 indoor season for his efforsts in the 60 and 200-meters. He also earned all-region honors after the 2017 outdoor season for the 100 and 200 meters. He grabbed a spot on the 2018 All-NESCAC team for his performance at the conference outdoor championships in the 100 and the 200-meters and the 400-meter relay and also earned All-NESCAC honors in 2017 in the 200-meter dash.
He finished his Hamilton football career with 204 receiving yards and 58 rushing yards in 27 games. He caught a touchdown pass that contributed to a 35-14 win against Bates on his Senior Day. Saucier was a member of the 2017 NESCAC Football All-Sportsmanship Team.
