Jack Simonds, Bowdoin Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Simonds averaged 27.5 points and 7.5 rebounds as the Polar Bears split against Bates and Tufts last weekend. Simonds equaled his career high with a 35-point effort against Bates on Friday, leading the Polar Bears to a win thanks to a 15-for-20 shooting performance from the field. For the week, Simonds shot 66.7 percent from the field.


Maddie Hasson, Bowdoin Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Hasson averaged 23.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and shot 76.0 percent (19-for-25) from the field in a pair of wins for the Polar Bears. Hasson scored 25 points and grabbed 10 boards against Bates on Friday and totaled a game-high 21 points with seven rebounds, hitting on 9-of-11 shots from the field, at Tufts on Saturday.


Joey Lupo, Amherst Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week

Lupo scored twice and added three assists for five points to help Amherst pick up a pair of conference wins. Lupo scored twice, including a short-handed tally, in a four-goal rally for the Mammoths and assisted on a power-play tally in a 6-3 victory versus Bowdoin. He handed out assists on two of Amherst’s three goals in the first period in a 6-3 win over Colby.


Kai-Lilly Karpman, Trinity Women's Ice Hockey Player of the Year

Karpman posted three shutouts in a 3-0 week for the Bantams, including a weekend series sweep over Connecticut College. Karpman finished the week with 62 saves and did not allow a goal. She recorded 38 stops, the second-most saves of the season, in Trinity’s win over the Camels on Sunday.
