Connecticut College, Bowdoin and Middlebury took part in the NCAA Tournament over the weekend. The Polar Bears advanced to the third round before falling 3-2 to UMass Boston.

Senior libero Caitlin Barrett was named NESCAC Player of the Week after leading Middlebury to its fourth NESCAC Championship over the weekend.

Junior Hannah Brickley took home NESCAC Player of the Week honors after she piled up 4.71 kills and 3.57 digs in a perfect 2-0 week for Trinity. The outside hitter recorded a hitting percentage of .364 and also added two aces and a pair of blocks.

Junior Megan Jarchow was named NESCAC Player of the Week after leading Middlebury to a 3-1 mark. The outside hitter delivered 3.29 kills per set and posted a hitting percentage of .382. She was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Volleyball Hall of Fame Invitational.

First year Lizzie Ahern collected NESCAC Player of the Week honors after racking up 3.85 kills per set in a perfect 3-0 week for Amherst. The outside hitter posted a hitting percentage of .363 in wins over Westfield State, Middlebury and Williams.

Junior setter Sophia Cornew led Bowdoin to three straight NESCAC wins with 9.0 assists and 3.36 digs per set. After posting double-doubles in wins over Colby and Bates, she racked up 46 assists in the Polar Bears' 3-2 triumph over Tufts.

Senior Rachel Schroff was named NESCAC Player of the Week after collecting 4.43 kills and 3.14 digs per set for Connecticut College. The right side hitter posted a hitting percentage of .351 while committing just four errors. She helped the Camels end Bowdoin's 40-match home winning streak.

Volleyball Weekly Release #3
First year Lizzie Ahern averaged 4.09 kills and 1.64 digs per set while hitting .340 in a 2-1 week for Amherst. The outside hitter was at her best on Friday, when she led her team to a 3-1 conference win over Trinity. She piled up 18 kills and four blocks in the contest, while hitting .441.

Volleyball Weekly Release #2
First year Christy Jewett boosted Bowdoin to a perfect 3-0 week with her outstanding play in the middle. The rookie racked up 3.27 kills per game and posted a hitting percentage of .333 to go with eight blocks. She racked up 14 kills and six blocks in the Polar Bears' 3-1 triumph over Amherst on Friday.

Sophia Cornew of Bowdoin and Katie Ketcham of Connecticut College earned a share of the NESCAC Player of the Week Award after leading their teams to matching 4-0 records over the weekend. Both setters averaged 10 assists per set.
