Liz
Clegg, Bowdoin (Junior, Attacker - Hudson, Ohio) Clegg scored 10 goals and assisted on another for the Polar Bears during a 3-0 week that put them in the NCAA semifinals for the first time. In Wednesday’s 16-5 victory over Babson, Clegg tallied four goals and an assist along with four ground balls and two draw controls. She had four more goals in a 13-10 win over Stevens on Saturday, and two scores in a 9-6 win over previously-unbeaten Trinity on Sunday. She went 4-for-4 on free position attempts during the week. |

Romanowsky, Trinity (Senior, Attacker - Hampstead, N.H.) Romanowsky helped the Bantams win not only their first NESCAC title this past weekend but establish a program record for victories with their 17th. Romanowsky scored three goals and assisted on seven others, adding in three ground balls and two draw controls in decisions over Tufts (13-12) and Colby (7-1). She finished the 2011 NESCAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship with 17 points, tying the tournament record. |

Connolly, Bowdoin (Sophomore, Goalkeeper - Simsbury, Conn.) Connolly headlined a Polar Bear defensive unit that posted a 3.33 goals against average in a 3-0 week, holding Tufts and Amherst to season-low scoring totals. Connolly made a total of 16 saves and recorded a .615 save percentage. In a 7-6 win at Tufts on Friday, Connolly stopped seven shots. She added another six saves in Sunday’s 5-3 win over Amherst in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship. |

Stewart, Bowdoin (Junior, Midfielder - Chevy Chase, Md.) Stewart scored eight goals over a pair of NESCAC victories, netting the game-winner against both Bates and Williams last week. On Wednesday in an 11-6 win over the Bobcats, Stewart had three goals, five ground balls, four caused turnovers, and two draw controls. She followed on Saturday with a game-high five goals in a 12-5 decision over Williams. |

Warnke, Colby (Senior, Goalkeeper - Lakeville, Conn.) Warnke made 14 saves - seven coming in each half - to lift the Mules past Connecticut College on Saturday, 6-4. She finished the week with 17 saves and a .810 save percentage after making three stops and allowing no goals in one half of a 20-1 win over the Univ. of New England. Saturday’s win over the Camels moved her career record to 49-11. |

Kozin, Tufts (Junior, Attacker - Suffern, N.Y.) Kozin racked up 23 points with six goals and an impressive 17 assists during a 3-0 week for the Jumbos. After collecting five assists in Tuesday’s 19-2 triumph over Bridgewater St., Kozin recorded a program-record seven assists in Thursday’s 19-10 win over Endicott, as she helped head coach Carol Rappoli win the 300th game of her career. Kozin closed the week with five helpers in a 13-7 victory at Connecticut College. In each of the three wins, Kozin scored two goals. |

Leonhard, Trinity (Sophomore, Midfielder - Summit, N.J.) Leonhard had five goals, eight ground balls, two draw controls, and four caused turnovers during a 2-0 week in conference play that kept the Bantams atop the NESCAC standings. On Wednesday in a 12-10 win over Wesleyan, Leonhard had a game-high six ground balls and had two draw controls and three caused turnovers. Saturday afternoon, Leonhard scored five times and added two grounders and a caused turnover in a 9-8 win at Tufts, as she broke a 6-6 second half tie by scoring Trinity’s final three goals. |

Egan, Tufts (Junior, Midfielder - Massapequa, N.Y.) Egan racked up 14 points with 10 goals and four assists during the Jumbos’ 2-0 road week in NESCAC play. She also added in two ground balls, two draw controls, and caused two turnovers. On Wednesday in an 11-8 win over Bates, Egan recorded five goals and an assist. At Wesleyan on Saturday, Egan tallied another five goals and assisted on three others in a 19-9 victory. She currently leads the Jumbos with 15 goals and 10 assists over seven games. |

Brallier, Bates (Sophomore, Attacker - Chambersburg, Pa.) Brallier played a big part in the Bobcats’ 2-0 road week - their first two wins of the season - as she scored seven goals, added an assist, and had six draw controls. At Babson on Tuesday, Brallier had three goals, three draw controls, and a ground ball as part of Bates’ 12-7 victory. She followed on Saturday with a career-high four tallies along with an assist for a five-point outing and contributed three draw controls and one ground ball in a 10-7 win at Wesleyan. |

Griffin, Colby (First Year, Attacker - Duxbury, Mass.) Griffin scored six goals, including two game-winners, and assisted on a seventh during a 3-0 week for the Mules. During Friday’s 11-10, come-from-behind win over Tufts, Griffin scored her second goal of the game with 43 seconds to play to give her team the victory. She also had three goals in an 18-3 decision over Southern Maine on Tuesday and a goal and an assist in an 18-3 win against Eastern Conn. St. on Sunday. |

Fulton, Williams (Junior, Attacker - Wellesley, Mass.) Fulton collected nine goals and five assists during a 2-0 week for the Ephs. On Tuesday against MIT, Fulton scored three goals and assisted on four others as Williams rolled to an 11-2 victory. She also had three ground balls. Fulton followed on Saturday at Bates with six goals, scoring on every shot she took, and an assist to help her team post an 18-12 decision over the Bobcats. She currently leads the Ephs with 15 points. |

Ryan, Middlebury (Senior, Midfielder - Mountain Lakes, N.J.) Ryan tallied the only goal during the overtime session in Saturday’s game at Bates, as the Panthers came out on top in a 10-9 decision. She finished the contest with five goals and two assists, including the assist on the game-tying goal with 31 seconds left in regulation, and also chipped in four caused turnovers, four ground balls, and a pair of draw controls. |
