Williams Advances Past Ithaca in NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Williams earned a win today over Ithaca College in the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Tournament. The Ephs defeated Ithaca 11-5, allowing them to advance to tomorrow’s finals against Middlebury.

Ithaca took a quick lead at the start of the game with 2-1 but it didn’t last long. Williams answered back with a pair of goals to put them in the lead 3-2. That score carried the game into half time as the ladies regrouped for another go.

Williams dominated the second half as they took control of the ball, scoring eight. Ithaca was unable to put up much of a fight, making just three more goals. In the end the Ephs emerged victorious 11-5.
