Greer, Middlebury (Junior, Forward - North Hampton, N.H.) Greer gave her Panther squad its seventh conference crown on Sunday as she scored the game-winning goal 6:17 into overtime in a 1-0 victory in the 2012 NESCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Championship. Greer finished the weekend with a pair of tallies, as she also scored in Middlebury’s 4-1 semifinal win against Trinity on Saturday afternoon. With a team-best 29 points on 13 goals and 16 assists, Greer is second in the NESCAC in scoring entering the NCAA Tournament. |

Holtz, Bowdoin (Junior, Forward - New Berlin, Wis.) Holtz factored into all three Polar Bear goals during a 3-2 overtime win against Williams in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Championship on Saturday. Her first goal of the game knotted the contest at one-all entering the first intermission, then she gave her squad the lead with a second period tally. In the extra session, Holtz started the rush that resulted in the game-winner with 21 seconds left and earned an assist on the decisive score. |

Foster, Williams (Senoir, Forward - Chatham, Mass.) Foster couldn’t have picked a better time of the year to score her first two goals, as she finished the Ephs’ 2-0-0 weekend with two tallies and an assist. On Friday against Connecticut College, Foster scored her team’s first goal and then helped out on the game-winner in a 2-1 victory. She followed on Saturday with the decisive goal in a 3-1 win that gave Williams the sixth seed in this year’s NESCAC championship. |

She closed out the week with a goal and two assists in Saturday’s 6-0 decision over the Ephs. |

Baranek, Amherst (Sophomore, Forward - West Babylon, N.Y.) Entering the Jeffs’ weekend series at Williams with only two points this season, Baranek tallied two game-winning goals and added an assist as Amherst swept its rival and maintained the top spot in the NESCAC standings. Friday evening, Baranek had a goal and an assist in a 5-1 victory. She followed on Saturday by scoring the only goal of the game with 5:58 left in regulation. The pair of victories pushed Amherst’s win streak to seven. |

Murphy, Amherst (Senior, Goaltender - Rochester, Minn.) Murphy only allowed one goal over two wins last week, as she registered a .984 save percentage on 63 shots. Tuesday evening against Norwich, Murphy stopped all 30 shots she faced to support the Jeff defense in holding the nation’s top offense scoreless for the first time in 68 games in a 2-0 win. She followed on Saturday with 32 saves in a 2-1 win at Connecticut College, making 25 saves over the final two frames. |

Holtz, Bowdoin (Junior, Forward - New Berlin, Wis.) Holtz accounted for the game-winning goal on consecutive nights for the Polar Bears in a weekend sweep of Williams, tallying both in the third period of each game. Friday evening, Holtz helped Bowdoin rally for a 4-2 victory as she assisted on the game-tying goal before scoring the decisive tally and adding an insurance marker. Saturday afternoon, Holtz broke a scoreless tie with 5:53 remaining and added another goal later in a 3-0 win. |

Billadeau, Williams (First Year, Goaltender - Chaska, Minn.) Billadeau went 3-0-0 in net for the Ephs last week, posting a .947 save percentage and back-to-back shutouts by stopping 54-of-57 shots. On Tuesday at Castleton, Billadeau turned aside 16 shots in a 4-0 victory. She earned her second shutout of the week on Friday with 18 saves in a 1-0 win against Colby, then made 20 saves in a 4-3, come-from-behind victory over the Mules in overtime. |

Saturday afternoon, Holtz broke a 2-2 tie with 1:35 remaining in regulation to lift the Polar Bears to a 3-2 win. Holtz leads Bowdoin in scoring with 14 points on seven goals and seven assists. |

Babineau recorded two goals and three assists during a 3-0-0 week for the Lord Jeffs, who remained tied atop the conference standings following a sweep of Colby. Babineau opened the week with a goal in a 7-2 win at New England College on Tuesday. She followed on Friday with a goal and two assists in a 4-0 victory over Colby, then added an assist in Saturday’s rematch, a 3-1 victory for the Jeffs. Babineau has recorded a point in six of her last seven games (4-4-8). |

Wheeler, Colby (Sophomore, Goaltender - Brussels, Ontario) Wheeler recorded her second shutout of the season and the fifth of her career in a 2-0 empty-net victory over Southern Maine on Saturday. In her only appearance between the pipes during a 1-1-0 week for the Mules, Wheeler stopped 34 shots as she made double-digit saves in the first (13) and third (12) periods. She moved her save percentage for the year to .940, as she currently ranks fourth in the NESCAC in that category. |

Zimmerman, Hamilton (Junior, Forward - Plymouth, Mich.) Zimmerman recorded five goals and two assists during the Continentals’ weekend sweep of Connecticut College, as she scored both game-winners. During Friday’s 3-0 victory over the Camels, Zimmerman had a goal and an assist. In Saturday’s 7-3 decision, Zimmerman exploded for a career-high four goals and five points. It was exactly seven years to the day since the last Hamilton player tallied at least four times in a game. |

Ugalde, Middlebury (Sophomore, Forward - Burlington, Conn.) Ugalde tallied three of her team’s five goals and was responsible for both game-winners during the Panthers’ pair of victories over Trinity this past weekend. Friday evening, Ugalde broke a 1-1 tie with a power-play goal at 7:43 of the third period in a 2-1 victory. She followed on Saturday afternoon with the first two Middlebury goals, both coming in the second period just under six minutes apart, in a 3-1 decision over the Bantams. |

Corvi, Wesleyan (Junior, Goaltender - Barrington, R.I.) Corvi made 36 stops during a 2-1 setback to undefeated Holy Cross on Sunday afternoon, as the Cardinals held the Crusaders, who entered the contest averaging nearly five goals per game, to their lowest scoring total so far this season. Corvi made double-digit saves in the first and second periods, giving up one power-play goal in the second stanza. It was the third time in as many outings that Corvi has made 30-or-more saves. |

Bravi, Williams (Sophomore, Forward - Montreal, Quebec) Bravi collected two goals and an assist, all on the Ephs’ power play, during a split weekend series with Wesleyan to open the 2011-12 slate. Bravi cut into Wesleyan’s two-goal lead in the first period of Friday’s outing at the 15:00 mark, as the Ephs eventually fell 5-3. Saturday afternoon, Bravi had the second assist on the game-tying goal at 6:12 of the third before tallying the game-winner just six minutes later in a 5-4, come-from-behind victory. |
