Kate Kogut, Middlebury
(Junior, Goaltender - Springfield, Mass.)
Kogut saved 56 of 58 shots in goal to lead Middlebury to its third
NESCAC Championship. The junior netminder was stellar all weekend
long, holding off offensive flurries by both Williams and Bowdoin
to lead the Panthers to the victory. She lowered her goals against
average to 1.44 on the season, while upping her league-leading save
percentage to .930.

Marissa Halligan, Hamilton
(Senior, Forward - West Haven, Conn.)
Marissa Halligan scored three goals in Hamilton's 6-1 win against
Amherst in the first round of the NESCAC Championships on Saturday.
Halligan tied a NESCAC Championship record for most goals in a
game. She is the sixth player to register a hat trick in the
conference championships. Halligan now has 48 goals and 109 points
in her career.

Heather DeVito, Colby
(Senior, Forward - Arlington, Mass.)
Colby's Heather DeVito had three goals and two assists in the
Mules' 2-0 week in clinching a NESCAC playoff bid. DeVito had two
goals in a 4-2 win against Trinity and followed that with one goal
and two assists in a 6-1 win over Wesleyan.

Rachel Simon, Amherst
(Sophomore, Defender - West Orange, N.J.)
Sophomore defender Rachel Simon posted four goals and three assists
in a 3-0 week for Amherst, capped off by a hat trick in Saturday's
4-0 victory at Trinity. She also tallied a goal and two assists in
a 4-2 win at Wesleyan.
Kristen Cameron,
Bowdoin
(First Year, Forward - Charlottetown, P.E.I.)
Kristen Cameron scored three goals, including two game-winners, as
Bowdoin secured the inside track to the NESCAC's top postseason
seed with a pair of wins at Williams and Middlebury. Cameron scored
two goals, including the tiebreaker in the second frame, as the
Polar Bears topped the Ephs, 4-1 on Friday. On Saturday, the rookie
forward scored Bowdoin's third goal early in the final period of a
5-2 victory at top-ranked Middlebury.

Caitlin Connelly, Hamilton
(Sophomore, Goaltender - Cheltenham, Pa.)
Caitlin Connelly boasted a 0.96 goals against average and .955 save
percentage in a 1-0-1 week for Hamilton. Connelly picked up her
first shutout this season and fourth of her career by stopping all
27 shots she faced in a 3-0 win at Colby on Saturday. She made 15
saves in a 2-2 tie at Colby on Friday.

Lorna Gifis, Middlebury
(Senior, Forward - Princeton, N.J.)
Lorna Gifis netted eight goals in a 2-1 week for Middlebury,
including two league wins. The senior scored a pair in a 4-2 loss
at #3 Plattsburgh, before scoring four goals in a win at
Connecticut College. She followed that up with a pair of goals in a
win over Amherst and now leads the team with 15 goals on the
season.

Denise McCulloch, Williams
(Fy., Goaltender - Toronto, Ontario)
With Denise McCulloch in goal, Williams was 1-0-1 against
Middlebury and Hamilton. She had 44 saves on 45 shots to tie
top-ranked Middlebury 1-1. McCulloch made 28 saves on 30 shots to
help Williams edge out a 3-2 win over Hamilton.

Courtney Bergh, Trinity
(Junior, Goaltender - Penningon, N.J.)
Bergh made 22 saves and recorded Trinity's first-ever shutout
victory in NESCAC play, as the Bantams broke a 28-game winless
streak in the league with a 1-0 win over Colby. Bergh stopped 53
shots the next day in a loss to nationally-ranked Bowdoin. Her save
percentage for the two games was .926.

(Senior, Forward - Arlington, Mass.)
Colby forward Heather DeVito had two goals in the Mules' 1-0-1
week. She had one goal in a 2-0 win against Connecticut College and
had another score in a 2-2 tie on the road at Amherst.

Emily Quizon, Middlebury
(Junior, Forward - Chino Hills, Calif.)
Emily Quizon scored a the game winning goal and added an assist in
Middlebury's 3-1 win over Williams. The Panthers end the semester
8-0 and ranked #1 nationally.

Zoe Baldwin, Hamilton
(Junior, Forward - Nepean, Ontario)
Zoe Baldwin scored seven goals and assisted on two others in
Hamilton's two wins at Trinity this weekend. Baldwin scored all
five goals, including the game-winner with two seconds left, in
Friday's 5-4 victory. She then figured in four of the Continentals'
five goals in a 5-1 victory on Saturday. Baldwin is now in second
place on the program's all-time list with 63 career goals.

Gigi Stender, Williams
(Senior, Forward - Chicago, Ill.)
Williams senior forward Gigi Stender scored four times in two
league victories. Stender netted two goals, including a shorthanded
goal, in a 5-0 defeat of Wesleyan and posted two goals and an
assist in a 7-2 victory over Trinity.

Laura Gosnell, Connecticut College
(Junior, Defender - East Windsor, N.J.)
Connecticut College junior captain Laura Gosnell played a pivotal
role in a pair of NESCAC wins for the Camels this weekend. Gosnell
anchored the Camel defense and assisted on the team's first goal in
a 3-2 win against Wesleyan Friday night. Saturday afternoon,
Gosnell put in the game-winner with 5:53 left in the game, lifting
the Camels to a 3-2 victory over Trinity College.
