March 3, 2003
Jill Young, Colby
(Senior, Defender - Edina, Minn.)
Young set a NESCAC Tournament record for points (four) in a game
with two goals and two assists in a 5-3 road victory over Hamilton.
Young scored the first two goals of the game to spark the No. 5
Mules to a 2-0 lead after one period. With the score tied 3-3,
Young had the lone assist on Anna Morro's game-winning goal with
6:46 left in the game.
February 24, 2003
Gabby Petrill, Connecticut College
(Freshman, Goaltender - Greensburg, Pa.)
Petrill made 58 stops in two games against Wesleyan, leading the
Camels to a 1-0-1 weekend against their conference rival. In a 2-1
victory Friday night, Petrill had 29 stops in net. Saturday
evening, Petrill added another 29 saves, finishing the season with
756 saves for the Camels.

Rachel Barr, Williams
(Freshman, Forward - Hanover, N.H.)
Barr posted five goals and an assist this week as Williams posted
five points to pull into third place in the NESCAC standings. The
freshman scored a goal in the Ephs' 1-1 tie with 4th ranked
Middlebury on Tuesday. This weekend Barr recorded a hat trick with
an assist in a 5-0 defeat of Connecticut College and scored again
in a 4-2 victory over the Camels.

Marissa O’Neil, Bowdoin
(Sophomore, Forward - Manchester, N.H.)
Sophomore forward Marissa O’Neil keyed a Bowdoin victory over
10th ranked St. Thomas on Monday night with her second career hat
trick in a five-point effort with three goals and two assists, and
added an assist in Bowdoin's Sunday victory over sixth-ranked
Plattsburgh State.

Kiersten Von Trapp, Wesleyan
(Senior, Forward - Stowe, Vt.)
The senior forward had three goals and assisted on the game-winner
with just 16 seconds remaining in a 6-5 win over Hamilton. She also
had a goal in a 5-2 win over Amherst.

Shelly Chessie, Bowdoin
(Senior, Forward - Fredericton, N.B.)
The senior had an outstanding week for the Polar Bears, collecting
a hat-trick in a mid-week win versus Southern Maine. On Friday
against Connecticut College, she had a hand in every Polar Bear
goal, scoring once and assisting on two others in a 3-1 win. On
Saturday against the Camels, she had three assists in a 7-1
victory.
January 20, 2003
Emily McKissock, Bowdoin
(Senior, Goaltender - Dedham, Mass.)
The senior captain was outstanding as Bowdoin picked up three road
points against the 4th and 5th-ranked teams in the nation, making
21 saves in a 3-1 defeat of Williams on Friday before stopping 39
shots in a 1-1 tie at Middlebury on Saturday. Overall, she finished
the weekend with 125 minutes played, a .967 save percentage and a
0.96 GAA. Bowdoin is undefeated on the year and ranked second in
the nation.

Zoe Baldwin, Hamilton
(Freshman, Forward - Nepean, Ontario)
Baldwin posted back-to-back hat tricks to lead Hamilton to a pair
of wins last week against Cortland State and UMass.-Boston. Against
Cortland, the freshman forward tallied four points on three goals
and an assist as Hamilton defeated Cortland State, 9-0. The
following day she had six points on three goals and three assists
in a 9-4 win over UMass.-Boston.
Lynn Hasday,
Colby
(Sophomore, Goaltender - Rockville Center, N.Y.)
Lynn Hasday made 99 saves in three games as Colby went 2-0-1 on the
week. She started the week with 33 saves in a 4-1 victory Tuesday
over Southern Maine, and then had 36 saves in Colby's 3-2 win
against Wesleyan on Friday as the Mules were outshot 38-16 in the
game. She also had 30 stops in Colby's 4-4 tie with Trinity on
Sunday.

O'Neil had two goals and an assist as Bowdoin rallied from a late
deficit to down Southern Maine 4-2, on December 11.

Marissa O’Neil, Bowdoin
(Sophomore, F - Manchester, N.H.)
O’Neil had three goals and two assists in two Polar Bear wins
last weekend. She had one goal and an assist in victory over
Hamilton before adding two more and an assist in win over Amherst.
The Polar Bears are currently ranked number two in the nation.

Angela Kapus, Middlebury
(Senior, Forward - Milwaukie, Ore.)
Kapus scored three goals and assisted on four others as Middlebury
won a pair of NESCAC games. She scored two goals and dished out
three assists in the win over Wesleyan, while picking up a goal and
an assist against Trinity.

Jen Kroleski, Hamilton
(Senior, Goaltender - New Rochelle, N.Y.)
Kroleski, captain of this year’s team, made 89 saves in two
games last week, leading Hamilton to a 1-1-0 record. She began the
weekend making 42 saves on 48 shots in a 6-3 loss to Middlebury.
She responded with a 47 save performance in a 4-2 win over Williams
on Saturday. The senior goalkeeper currently holds all of
Hamilton’s goalie records.
