Colleen Hart, Tufts
(Junior, Guard - Needham, Mass.)
Hart averaged 27.0 points per game for the Jumbos during a 1-1 showing over the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament. She hit 19-of-37 attempts from the floor (.514), went 11-for-17 from beyond the arc (.647), and made 5-of-6 free throw attempts (.833). On Friday against Muhlenberg, Hart scored 26 points (10-for-19) in a 71-59 victory. She followed with 28 points, going 8-for-10 from three-point range, in a 75-56 setback to Kean on Saturday. Hart finished the year with 83 three-pointers, smashing the previous single-season record of 57, and heads into her senior year with a program-best 192 treys through her career at Tufts.

Shannon Finucane, Amherst
(Sophomore, Guard - Cortland, N.Y.)
Finucane averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.0 assists per game to lead the Jeffs to the 2010 NESCAC Women’s Basketball Championship, Amherst’s second title in the past three years. During Sunday’s 69-54 victory over Colby, Finucane had a game-high 21 points on 5-of-6 shooting (.833), including a 3-for-3 performance from three-point range and an 8-for-8 showing at the foul line.

Caitlin Hynes, Bowdoin
(Senior, Forward - Owl’s Head, Maine)
Hynes tied her career-high with 24 points to go along with six rebounds and four blocks as the Polar Bears edged Tufts 65-54 in overtime on Saturday in the quarterfinals of the 2010 NESCAC Women’s Basketball Championship. During the overtime session, Hynes scored six of Bowdoin’s 15 points and blocked three shots.

Jessie Igoe, Bates
(Junior, Center - Lexington, Mass.)
Igoe scored a career-high 22 points, including a 10-for-11 performance at the free-throw line (.909), along with 11 rebounds, two blocks and two steals in the Bobcats’ 71-57 win over Tufts on Saturday, their lone game last week. It was the first win for Bates over a nationally-ranked team since January of 2006.

Rachael Mack, Colby
(Sophomore, Forward - Augusta, Maine)
Mack averaged 13.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game during a 3-0 week that saw the Mules clinch a home quarterfinal contest in the upcoming NESCAC Women’s Basketball Championship for the first time since 2003. She hit 14-of-25 shots (.560) and went 12-for-14 from the foul line. On Friday at Williams, Mack had a team-high 15 points as she scored the game-tying basket with one second left in regulation, then had four points in overtime to put the Mules up for good in a 74-68 victory. She recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds during Saturday’s 63-54 win at Middlebury. Mack started the week with 11 points and six rebounds in Colby’s 64-54 victory at Southern Maine.

Caroline Stedman, Amherst
(Sophomore, Guard - Walpole, Mass.)
Stedman had a career weekend in helping the Jeffs to two road victories in Maine, as Amherst established a new program mark for longest winning streak and best start to the season at 19-0. Stedman averaged 23.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 4.0 steals per game while going 16-for-29 from the floor (.552), 8-for-13 from three-point range (.615), and 7-for-8 from the foul line (.875). She had a career-high 21 points on Friday in the Jeffs’ first-ever win at Bowdoin, 72-63, then broke her personal mark again a day later with 26 at Colby in an 84-63 victory.

Julia Baily, Tufts
(Senior, Forward - Farmington, Conn.)
Baily led the Jumbos to victories over Colby and Bowdoin this past weekend by averaging 18.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game on 13-of-24 shooting (.542) and a 10-for-11 performance at the free throw line. On Friday evening, Baily had game-highs of 20 points and nine rebounds to help the Jumbos past the Mules, 72-57. She followed on Saturday with another game-high performance of 16 points and also grabbed nine rebounds in a 52-40 victory against the Polar Bears.

Kaitlin Ciarleglio, Trinity
(Sophomore, Guard - Waterbury, Conn.)
Ciarleglio led her squad as the Bantams opened up NESCAC play with a 2-0 showing, averaging 16.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game while shooting 13-for-24 from the floor (.542). On Friday in a 72-43 win over Connecticut College, Ciarleglio had a career-high 17 points along with eight boards and six assists. She followed on Saturday during a 78-60 decision against Wesleyan with 16 points, another eight rebounds, and four assists.

Allie Beaulieu, Bates
(First Year, Guard/Forward - Swampscott, Mass.)
During a 2-2 week for the Bobcats, Beaulieu scored a team-high 17.0 points per game while shooting 27-of-48 from the floor (.563), including an impressive 9-for-17 (.529) from three-point range and a 5-for-5 showing at the foul line. She also added 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. Her most impressive performance came in a 78-52 loss at Tufts, as she was 9-for-11 (.818) overall, 4-for-4 from beyond the arc, and 1-for-1 at the line to finish with a career-best 23 points. Beaulieu leads all league rookies in scoring with 13.2 points per game this season.

Jil Vaughan, Colby
(Sophomore, Forward - Wareham, Mass.)
Vaughan garnered Most Outstanding Player honors for the ‘B’ Bracket at the ECAC Holiday Festival last week, as she averaged 14.5 points and 10.0 rebounds off the bench over a pair of wins for the Mules. On Saturday during a 61-53 victory against King’s (Pa.), Vaughan recorded her first double-double of the season with a 13-point, 12-rebound performance. She added 16 points and eight rebounds on Sunday in a 90-48 win. Vaughan finished the tournament 10-for-14 (.714) with a 9-for-10 showing at the foul line along with four steals and three blocks.

Lauren Yanofsky, Bates
(Senior, Forward - Belmont, Mass.)
In only 23 minutes of action, Yanofsky had 22 points, 13 rebounds, six blocks, four assists, and four steals during a 96-80 win over Thomas on Monday. Down three points at halftime, Yanofsky helped the Bobcats to victory with 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting and seven rebounds in the second half. She finished the game 11-for-16 from the floor (.688).
   
Colleen Hart, Tufts
(Junior, Guard - Needham, Mass.)
Hart averaged 21.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game during a 3-0 week for the Jumbos. Hart started the week with 22 points and five rebounds in an 80-71 win at Wheaton on Monday. She broke Tufts’ career three-pointer record against Maine Maritime on Saturday, finishing with 21 points in the 61-43 win. Hart closed the week by earning MVP honors at the Regis Tournament with 20 points in the 78-56 victory. For the week, Hart was 24-for-41 from the floor (.585) and 11-for-18 from beyond the arc (.611).

Leah Rubega, Bowdoin
(Senior, Forward - Norwich, Conn.)
Rubega recorded a pair of double-doubles to help the Polar Bears record road victories over Maine rivals Southern Maine (60-47) and Colby (65-56) last week. She averaged 16.0 points and 13.0 rebounds, hit 15-of-23 of her shots (.652), and contributed 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game. Rubega had 12 points and 13 rebounds in Tuesday’s win over the Huskies, the first for Bowdoin in Gorham since 2003-04. She followed with 20 points and another 13 rebounds on Saturday at Colby.

Julia Baily, Tufts
(Senior, Forward - Farmington, Conn.)
Baily posted back-to-back 20-point, 15-rebound outings in road victories over Endicott on Tuesday, 75-64, and Brandeis on Sunday, 60-50. During Baily’s first double-double of the week, she went 9-for-17 from the floor (.529) and added in an assist, a block, and a steal. Against the Judges on Sunday, Baily shot .438 (7-for-16) and went 6-for-6 from the line. Twelve of her 15 rebounds in the win came off the defensive glass. Baily finished the week .485 from the floor (16-for-33) and 8-for-10 from the line (.800) while averaging 34.5 minutes per game.

Colleen Hart, Tufts
(Junior, Guard - Needham, Mass.)
Hart averaged 23.0 points as she went 17-for-28 from the floor (.607) and 9-for-13 from beyond the arc (.692) during a 1-1 weekend for the Jumbos at the Rino’s Pizza Classic at New Paltz St. She had 31 points - one of the top 15 games in Tufts history - during a 80-78, double-overtime loss to the hosts on Friday. Hart also averaged 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game and was a perfect 3-for-3 on free throw attempts, as she earned All-Tournament Team honors.
