Ciliv helped the Jumbos finish third out of six teams at the three-day MIT Invitational by scoring the most points for Tufts in the individual events. Ciliv posted season-best times in the 200 butterfly (1:55.79), the 100 breaststroke (57.72), the 200 breaststroke (2:07.53) and the 200 individual medley (1:57.09). His 100 breaststroke time was an NCAA provisional time and only 0.18 seconds off the Tufts record set in 2009, while his 200 breaststroke time was only 0.22 seconds off the school record set in 2009. Ciliv raced 13 times over the weekend and was faster at the finals in each of his events (individual and relays) on both Saturday and Sunday nights.

Waddell was a staple in the Ephs’ lineup this past weekend that defeated Boston College. Waddell won the 50 freestyle (24.09) and the 100 butterfly (57.25), and posted impressive splits in both the 200 medley relay (24.90 seconds on the butterfly leg) and the 400 freestyle relay (53.66).
