Hamilton's Rosenbaum Repeats as Swimmer of the Meet
HADLEY, Mass. – The NESCAC announced the 2012-13 Women's Swimming & Diving All-Conference Team. The top three finishers in each event at the 2013 NESCAC Women's Swimming & Diving Championships received All-Conference recognition.
Hamilton junior Maggie Rosenbaum was named as the Swimmer of the Meet for the second straight year. Rosenbaum again swept all three Backstroke events, setting new Leroy Greason pool records in all three events, while establishing meet records in the 50 and 100, and setting the NESCAC record in the 50-yard Backstroke.
Williams senior Caroline Wilson was named Four Year High Point Swimmer. Wilson was part of the winning 400 and 800-yard freestyle relays, while taking first in the 400-yard Individual Medley. She also finished second in the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard Individual Medley, and as a part of the 200-yard Medley relay.
Amherst junior Lizzy Linsmayer earned Diver of the Meet honors, after collecting first place in the 1-meter Diving and finishing second in the 3-meter Diving events. Senior Diane Paverman from Hamilton received recognition as Four Year High Point Diver.
After sweeping the Butterfly events and helping the 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays finish first, Sarah Conklin from Amherst was named Rookie of the Year.
Amherst' Nick Nichols was named Coach of the Year, while Jesse Maple earned Diving Coach of the Year honors. Both coaches received the honors for the first time in their careers, as the Jeffs earned 1,972.50 points and took first, ending a 12-year run by Williams.
Women's Swimming and Diving All-Conference Team
