March 3, 2003
Doug Kisielius, Trinity
(Sophomore, Goaltender - Park Ridge, Ill.)
Kisielius made 48 saves in an overtime win over Williams to help
Trinity advance to its second straight NESCAC semifinals. Kisielius
allowed just two goals in over 62 minutes of action.
February 24, 2003
Alex Shaine, Wesleyan
(Junior, Forward - Tucson, Ariz.)
Shaine doubled his season scoring figures with a four-goal,
three-assists effort over the final two games, both wins over
NESCAC rivals. The junior posted two goals and assisted on another
as Wesleyan defeated Tufts, 5-3, then had two goals and two assists
in a 5-0 victory over Connecticut College in the final game of
32-year head coach Dave Snyder's career.
Kevin Cooper,
Middlebury
(Junior, Forward - Mississauga, Ont.)
Kevin Cooper scored three goals on the week, including the
game-winner in overtime as #2 Middlebury topped #3 Norwich. Cooper
also scored another goal in that contest, while tallying his
team-leading 19th goal against St. Michael's.

J. D. Hadiaris, Colby
(Senior, Goaltender - Saco, Maine)
Hadiaris moved into a tie for the top spot in NCAA Division III in
goals-against average after allowing one goal in two victories this
past week. He had 26 saves in a 4-1 win over arch-rival Bowdoin at
home Tuesday and then had 15 stops to post his fourth shutout of
the season in a 8-0 win over Southern Maine in his final regular
season home game. In the game against Bowdoin, he had 14 saves in
the second period when Colby took a 2-1 lead on the way to the
victory. Hadiaris leads the NESCAC in goals against average, save
percentage and is also eighth nationally in save percentage.
February 10, 2003
Sean Lynch, Amherst
(Freshman, Goalkeeper - Essex Junction, Vt.)
Amherst rookie goaltender Sean Lynch tallied 27 saves on 30 shots,
15 of which came in the third period, in Friday night's 4-3 Little
Three Championship clinching win over visiting Williams. He then
finished with 22 saves on 23 shots in Saturday's 1-1 tie with
visiting third-ranked Middlebury.
Matt Harrison,
Hamilton
(Senior, Forward - Toronto, Ont.)
Hamilton senior Matt Harrison had three points last week all on
goals. He had a goal in a loss to Middlebury on Friday. Versus
Williams he had a pair of goals, including the game-winner with
4:55 remaining in regulation against Williams. The goal stopped a
five-game losing streak by the Continentals

Steve Baldassarri, Williams
(Sophomore, Forward - Brewster, N.Y.)
Sophomore Steve Baldassarri posted six points in a 1-0-1 week for
the Ephs. He scored twice in a 3-3 tie against Babson and added two
goals and two assists in a defeat of UMass-Boston, his first goals
coming just 54 seconds into the contest.
January 27, 2003
Tim Schneider, Middlebury
(Freshman, Forward - Trochu, Alberta)
Schneider scored four goals and assisted on two others as
Middlebury won three home league games. The rookie scored a goal in
a 4-3 win over Williams, scored again and dished out two assists in
a 6-1 win over New England College, and ended the week with a pair
of goals in a 4-1 win over St. Anselm.

(Sophomore, Goaltender - Park Ridge, Ill.)
The Trinity goalkeeper made 13 saves against Wesleyan and 19
against St. Michael's, both 4-0 wins, to extend his shutout streak
to three games. He made 33 saves as Trinity handed Norwich its
first loss of the year, 5-3, and went 226 minutes without allowing
goal. Norwich was ranked No. 1 in the nation.
January 20, 2003
Yen-I Chen, Middlebury
(Freshman, Goaltender - Rigaud, Que.)
Chen made 45 saves and allowed only three goals as Middlebury
picked up a pair of NESCAC road wins at Colby and Bowdoin. The
rookie netminder made 24 saves in a 5-1 victory over 12th-ranked
Colby, while making 21 stops in a 4-2 win over 5th-ranked Bowdoin.

Scott Aldrich, Amherst
(Sophomore, Forward - Wilmington, Mass.)
Amherst sophomore forward Scott Aldrich scored the first two goals
in a 7-0 Lord Jeff flurry en route to a 7-4 win at Wesleyan on
Friday night. He then tallied his second goal of the contest with
two seconds remaining in regulation to help Amherst salvage a 3-3
tie at Trinity on Saturday.
January 6, 2003
Joseph Ori, Trinity
(Sophomore, Forward - Niles, Ill.)
Ori scored three of Trinity's five goals and was named to the
all-tournament team as the Bantams split a pair of games against
top ten teams in the Times Argus Invitational Tournament at
top-ranked Norwich. The sophomore forward scored twice, including
the game-winner with less than four minutes to go in the third
period in a 4-3 win over No. 6-ranked St. Thomas in the
semi-finals.
December 9, 2002
Joseph Ori, Trinity
(Sophomore, Forward - Niles, Ill.)
The sophomore forward had 7 points in a 2-0 week for Trinity. Ori
had three assists in a 10-0 win at Mass.-Boston and two goals and
two assists in a 6-5 overtime win at Babson. Against Babson, Ori
tied the score with a goal with only 13 seconds in regulation and
won the game with an unassisted goal in overtime.
December 2, 2002
Steve Oven, Connecticut College
(Sophomore, Goaltender - Vestal, N.Y.)
Oven combined to make 77 saves for the Camels in two games played
at the Charles Luce Tournament this weekend. The sophomore
goalkeeper made 34 stops in a 4-3 loss to Johnson & Wales
Saturday and followed up with a 43 save effort (26 in the third
period) in a 5-2 victory against Wesleyan University Sunday night.
November 25, 2002
Nick Bayley, Colby
(Sophomore, Forward - Cambridge, Ont.)
Bayley had four goals and four assists as Colby went 2-0 on the
weekend with wins against New England College (7-6, OT) and St.
Anselm (7-0). Bayley, last year’s leading scorer for the
Mules, had a hand in the first six goals of the game for Colby with
two goals and four assists against New England College. He scored
with 2:03 left the third period to tie the game at 6-6 and sent it
to overtime. Bayley then had a pair of goals as Colby took the
victory over St. Anselm on Saturday. Bayley has three of
Colby’s seven power play goals so far this year.
