Play Suspended Due to Darkness on Day One at Golf Qualifier

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Day one of the NESCAC Golf Fall Qualifier at Waubeeka Golf Links was suspended due to darkness on Saturday. The first two waves were able to complete the first round, however the final wave consisting of Trinity, Tufts, Wesleyan and Williams was unable to complete its round. Play will resume on Sunday, Oct. 4 at Waubeeka at 9:30 a.m. on the 17th hole.

Originally scheduled to have an 11:00 a.m. start on Saturday, play was delayed due to rain and wet course conditions for an hour and 10 minutes. The first wave consisting of Amherst, Bowdoin and Hamilton did not begin competition until 12:10 p.m., while the final group reached the first tee box at 2:30 p.m.
