Williams Wins 2004 Golf Championship

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – For the fourth time in five years, the
Williams men’s golf team has captured the NESCAC
Championship. The Ephs were in third place after day one, trailing
first place Hamilton by 11 strokes and second place Middlebury by
10. Williams came back with a 310 on day two (630), earning a one
stroke win over Hamilton (631) en route to its eighth NESCAC title.
Nick Ryder of Williams captured individual honors with a two-day total of 154 on the Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College. Ryder, a freshman, earned both Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year accolades following his performance.
