Ingrid
Oelschlager, Bowdoin (Senior, Midfielder - Roanoke, Va.) Oelschlager scored twice in the final match of the 2010 NESCAC Field Hockey Championship on Sunday, as the Polar Bears came away with the conference crown with a 3-0 victory over top-seeded Tufts. Her first goal came in the 29th minute, followed by her second in the 42nd minute. She finished the weekend with four shots on net. The two tallies brought her to six goals so far this season. |

Tamara
Brown, Tufts (Senior, Forward - Annandale, Va.) Brown scored what proved to be the only goal of the game during Friday’s battle for the top seed in the 2010 NESCAC Field Hockey Championship between Bowdoin and Tufts. She followed on Sunday during the quarterfinals against Bates with three goals, her third hat trick of the season, in a 4-1 victory. Brown leads the NESCAC in goals with 23 so far this season, just five shy of her career-high 28 from 2008. |

Katie
McMahon, Amherst (Sophomore, Forward - Denville, N.J.) McMahon collected 15 points as she scored five goals and assisted on five others in a 2-0 week for the Lord Jeffs. She factored into seven of Amherst’s nine goals with four tallies and three helpers in Tuesday’s 9-0 victory over Smith, then had a goal and two assists in a 4-3 comeback victory at Wesleyan on Friday. McMahon leads the Jeffs in scoring with 17 goals and 47 points. |

Meryl
Poulin, Colby (Senior, Midfielder - Cape Elizabeth, Maine) Poulin had three of the Mules’ four goals in a 2-0 week, which included a 3-0 victory over Connecticut College to keep her team’s postseason hopes alive. She had the lone goal of Wednesday’s game at the University of New England, then scored the first two goals of Saturday’s win over the Camels. Poulin has scored five of Colby’s six game-winners this season. |

Williams, Trinity (Senior, Midfielder - Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) Williams had two goals and two assists during a 2-0 week for the Bantams. During Tuesday’s 4-1 victory over UMass Dartmouth, Williams collected two assists. In Saturday’s showdown with Tufts, the first meeting between the two since the final in last year’s NESCAC Championship, Williams had two goals - including the overtime game-winner - in a 2-1 victory over the previously-unbeaten Jumbos. |

Lauren
Greer, Middlebury (Sophomore, Forward - North Hampton, N.H.) Greer scored five times and assisted on two other goals during the Panthers’ 2-0 week. During Tuesday’s 5-0 victory against Union, Greer had two goals and an assist. She followed on Saturday in a 4-1 win against Amherst by figuring into all four goals, scoring three and assisting on the fourth. Greer now leads Middlebury and is second among all NESCAC players in points with 23 through eight games. |

Redding, Wesleyan (Sophomore, Goalkeeper - Branford, Conn.) Redding backboned the Cardinals to a key 1-0 victory over rival Trinity on Saturday, making a season-high 13 saves in net. Nine of Redding’s 13 saves came in the second half, as she made the halftime advantage stand up. It was the third shutout of the season for Redding and sixth of her career. |

Brown, Tufts (Senior, Forward - Annandale, Va.) Brown totaled four goals during a 2-0 week for the undefeated Jumbos. On Wednesday at UMass Dartmouth, Brown opened the scoring in the contest as part of a two-goal effort in a 4-0 victory. She followed on Saturday against Wesleyan with both Tufts goals, including the overtime game-winner, for a 2-1 win in a battle of undefeated conference foes. |

Hine, Connecticut College (Senior, Forward - Madison, Conn.) Hine helped the Camels race out to their fastest start in 10 years with three goals and three assists in a 2-0 week for Connecticut College. Thursday at Springfield, Hine contributed two goals and two assists in a 6-2 victory. She followed on Saturday with a goal and an assist in a 2-0 decision over Williams. Hine moved into third place on the Camels’ all-time scoring list last week, as she now has 82 career points. |

Sword, Trinity (Junior, Defender - Princeton Junction, N.J.) After tallying just seven times over 18 games last season, Sword opened up the 2010 campaign with three goals in a 5-1 victory against Colby on Saturday. She tied the game at one in the seventh minute of the contest, then helped the Bantams shut the door with back-to-back goals before the end of the first half. |
