2001 Field Hockey Players of the Week
October 29, 2001
Tori Scott, Williams
(Sophomore, Forward - Cambridge, Mass.)
Scott scored the game-winner with no time left in a 2-1 first round
win over Bowdoin and also assisted on the other goal. In the NESCAC
Championship game, Scott scored the first goal and assisted on the
second in a 3-0 win over Amherst.
Rebecca Kiselewich,
Williams
(Sophomore, Midfielder - Baltimore, Md.)
Kiselewich shut down the top offensive threats for Bowdoin and
Amherst. She consistently created opportunities on offense while
warding off potential threats defensively. Kiselewich added an
assist against Amherst.

(Sophomore, Forward - Cambridge, Mass.)
Scott scored four goals and assisted on another goal as Williams
won all four of its games. She scored two goals in a 3-0 win at
Springfield and one goal in a 3-0 win over Tufts. She scored one
goal and assisted on another in a 4-0 victory over Wesleyan in the
first round of the NESCAC tournament.

Molly Jennings, Williams
(Junior, Midfielder - Greenwich, Conn.)
Jennings scored one goal and added one assist and helped Williams
post back-to-back shutouts. The Ephs handed 11th-ranked Middlebury
its first conference loss as Jennings shut down the conference's
leading scorer Char Glessner. Jennings scored on a penalty kick in
a 3-0 victory over eighthranked Amherst.
Laura Pfeiffenberger,
Wesleyan
(Junior, Forward - Hollis, Maine)
Pfeiffenberger scored four goals to lead Wesleyan to three wins as
the Cardinals moved their winning streak to five games. She scored
both goals, including the game-winner in overtime, in a 2-1 win
over Mount Holyoke and tallied two goals in a 3-1 victory over
Tufts.

Char Glessner, Middlebury
(Sophomore, Forward - Ipswich, Mass.)
Glessner scored two goals and added an assist in two shutout wins
for the 11th-ranked Panthers. She scored the only goal in a 1-0
road win over sixth-ranked Amherst. Glessner scored one goal and
assisted on another in a 5-0 win over Keene State.

Missy Krempa, Middlebury
(Sophomore, Midfielder - Johnstown, N.Y.)
Krempa scored five goals and added an assist in a 2-0 week for
Middlebury. She scored all three goals, including the game-winner
with 4:21 remaining, in a 3-2 victory over Wesleyan that left the
Panthers as the only NESCAC team without a conference loss. She
scored two goals and added an assist in a 7-0 rout of Union earlier
in the week.

(Sophomore, Forward - Ipswich, Mass.)
Glessner scored five goals and assisted on another goal in Panther
road wins over defending NESCAC champion Bowdoin and Bates. She
scored twice in a 4-1 win over Bowdoin, and scored three goals and
assisted on the other in a 4-1 victory over Bates.

Marissa O'Neil, Bowdoin
(Freshman, Forward - Manchester, N.H.)
O'Neil scored both goals in a 2-1 Bowdoin win over Williams on
Saturday. She scored one goal in a 3-0 win over Wesleyan on Sunday.

Char Glessner, Middlebury
(Sophomore, Forward - Ipswich, Mass.)
Glessner scored two goals and assisted on two others as Middlebury
scored five second-half goals en route to a 6-1 win over
Connecticut College.
