Jeff Corbett, Hamilton College
Jeff Corbett transferred to Hamilton as a
sophomore and was one of the College's top golfers for three
seasons. Corbett made the NESCAC all-conference first team in 2006
and 2008, and the second team in 2007. He earned NESCAC Fall
All-Academic honors in 2007 and 2008.
Corbett, who is from Stoneham, Mass., made the Golf Coaches Association of America Division III All-America Scholar Team in 2008 and 2009. The GCAA selected him to the 2009 NCAA Division III All-Region team for the Northeast region.
His finest tournament came in the 2008 NESCAC Championship Qualifier at Middlebury's Ralph Myhre Golf Course. He recorded an even-par 142 for 36 holes and finished second overall out of 50 golfers at the event. Corbett's 2008-09 stroke average was 76.86. He shot better than 80 a total of 14 times, including two rounds of 70 in the fall. Hamilton finished third at the 2009 NESCAC Championship.
