Lauren Guza graduated summa cum laude from Middlebury College in the spring of 2005 with a degree in English. She was the recipient of the school’s Hazeltine-Klevenow Memorial Trophy, given annually to the senior who best combines ability in athletics and excellence in scholarship. On the softball field, Guza was a two-team All-NESCAC selection, while also earning All-NESCAC Academic honors on two occasions.

She ended her career at Middlebury holding school records for games played (114), at-bates (393), hits (142), runs scored (67) and stolen bases (17). Hs ranks third all time with a .361 average and 40 RBI, while ranking second with 19 doubles and six triples.
